Second Chance Thrift Store

Due to the overwhelming generosity of the public, Interval House has been receiving donations of used clothing which exceed what can be used by residents of the shelter.

The Second Chance Thrift Store, a used clothing store, is now open at 628 - 10th Street East. Residents continue to have access to the donations at no charge to them.

The Second Chance Thrift Store provides many benefits:

• It creates employment opportunities within the community
• It provides a means of recycling good quality used clothing, making them available to the public at reasonable prices.
• It increases space and decreases traffic at the shelter.
• Most importantly, for those people who support Interval House through their generous donations, the benefit of those donations remain where they were intended to be. Residents, both mothers and children, continue to receive some of the necessities of life, while enjoying the benefits of enhanced programming.

The profits from this store will be used to fund programs at Interval House.
